We are now looking for a talented university student with experience in designing and developing custom reports using Jasper reports in JAVA.
You will work in our Forest Division, in a great team located in Ostrava.
The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop reports that provide actionable insights to support the educational goals of our institution. The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop custom reports using data from our REST api.
Do you have 20 hours per week? Are you available until December 2023?
Key responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain custom reports using Jasper reports in JAVA.
• Collaborate with our team to understand reporting requirements and identify the data sources needed for report development.
• Create and optimize queries to extract data from our REST api.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of report data by developing and implementing data validation processes.
• Troubleshoot report issues and provide support to end-users.
• Continuously improve the quality and usability of our reports by seeking feedback and implementing best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in report development.
Qualifications:
• Experience working with REST api data sources is advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in English, written and spoken.
