Flatio allows people to live borderless in a sustainable world. We are looking for a new colleague to join our customer support team and cover around 60 hours per month (Monday-Sunday) on our helpdesk.
Flatio is based in Central Europe, Brno, Czech republic. We have an international team from Czechia, Portugal, UK, US and Brazil and it’s possible to work remotely.
What will be your tasks:
1. Helpdesk job (from 1st of September)
- On the help desk, we work every day (Monday-Sunday) and the shifts are
scheduled amongst 4 agents. We have no standard business hours, but we keep
the hours between 9:00 and 17:00 CET. You will be expected to:
- Provide customer support to owners of properties and their tenants;
- Communicate with landlords and tenants through ticketing systems, by phone,
email and WhatsApp;
- Educate landlords. They should become autonomous, offer affordable housing
and meet our politics (accept our lease agreement, don't collect deposits for
lettings shorter than 6 months etc.);
- Answer questions from landlords and tenants and give them advices to help
them solving different situations;
- Follow the goal is to satisfy landlords and tenants and to be their guide while
using Flatio.
2. + Emergency line (from 1st of October)
After one month of work on the help desk, you will also cover half of the month (approx. 120 hours) on our emergency line. The other half will be covered by another agent. This line is for emergency cases during move-in and move-out of the tenant which require urgent solving. During these shifts, you don’t need to be by the computer at all, you just need to have your phone connected to the internet on you and be ready to accept a call if somebody contacts us.
This line is online every day (Monday-Sunday) from 10:00 to 18:00 CET.
We are looking for a person that is necessarily:
- CZ native
- Local native speaker with good English skills (B2)
- Available all week long (at least usually)
- Customer support oriented
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Engaged and hard-working
- Self-responsible and independent
- Open to learning new things
- Able to see a broader context
- Honest, straightforward and team player
- Positive about online technologies
You have a big advantage if you:
- Have experience from a call center

- Part-time job (ideal for students)
- Freelancer contract only (“na živnost”)
- Remote work
- 200 CZK per hour (150 CZK during the training period which will last for 2
months) for helpdesk job; +20% for helpdesk shifts during weekends and +30%
for helpdesk shifts during holidays
- 5000 CZK fixed pay for covering half a month of the emergency shifts
- In case the agent is following our rules and reaches our benchmarks, we have 2
types of extra rewards, both can be earned on a monthly basis (one is up to 25%
of your salary and the other one is up to 400€). The rewards can be earned only
after the training period and one doesn’t exclude the other.
