This young French-Swedish family lives in the city of Zürich. They both work 100 %. Mrs. R works at Zürich university where she supervises economics students while her husband is a project manager. Their family language is French but Mrs. R speaks Swedish with the children and the parents also speak English and German. They are open to any nationality and language to help look after their two sons, Maxime aged 2 1/2 year and Viggo aged 5 years. No animals. Their oldest son will be in Kindergarten every morning and the younger one goes to a daycare center 2.5 days. The work program will be mainly divided on week days. It could include time in the morning to bring the children to school/daycare and in the afternoon to supervise the children when parents are at work. Their expectation is for the au pair to focus first on children and then do normal help around the house like running errands, making dinner once or twice a week. They will keep their current cleaning lady for the big household chores. . It could also include help with cooking and running errands. Everything is close by so there is no need to drive. They would prefer a candidate who is above 20 years and who has clear goals in life. Someone who truly loves to spend time with children and likes to do her job well. The au pair is an example for young children so they would like her to be active and have a healthy lifestyle. You should be flexible and interested in your job. They would prefer a candidate who is not too introverted and can communicate well with the parents and children. Someone open minded, honest and reliable who can discuss things and make compromises if necessary.
