Hello, we are Runecast. Our Runecast Analyzer solution can catch errors and faults while they are still hiding in virtualized data centers before they make people sad or angry. We are also performing Data Science research on ML and NLP for context-based free text processing to make this process even smarter. We’re a team of entrepreneur-minded professionals from 15 different countries - but united, most of us in our Brno offices! You will have an opportunity to: You will become the right hand of our Head of Finance. With all the invoices to pay and receipts to keep track of, she is in need of a helping hand. In finance, you will be mainly responsible for: - Keeping the evidence of receipts and invoices - Filling out of business trips, timesheets, and other documents - Scanning and storing documents as needed - Communication with accountants, banks, and authorities. We would also appreciate help with our Back Office. Mainly, you could help out with: - Taking care of our office, from introducing new decorations to cleaning our coffee machine - Ordering office supplies and refreshments - Being responsible for mail and other communications We encourage you to apply: Runecast is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company. Who are we looking for? - Someone who has experience in assisting a finance department. You will be responsible for helping our Head of Finance with a wide variety of tasks, including accurate record-keeping and communication with authorities. Do you know what is the difference between VAT payer and non-VAT-payer? What would you need to know to pay an invoice? You will be using your knowledge, as well as learning something new every day. - Are you fluent in Czech and English language? We are an international team where both languages are used on a daily basis. You will need to be able to communicate with Czech authorities, as well as chat with other team members who are mostly foreigners. - Someone looking for a part-time to full-time job. There will be enough work for a full-time position but we would be happy if you could dedicate at least 20 hours per week. We can accommodate your schedule and existing commitments. - A proactive attitude with attention to detail. Those two characteristics are key to being successful in this position. Being able to demonstrate your proactiveness and an eye for detail is a big plus. - Someone who is on a first-name basis with Excel and can easily navigate new tools. The majority of our finance-related operations need to be done in Excel. We need someone who understands how Excel works and can create a contingency table from time to time. You will also use other tools, such as accounting systems. - Any other experience with finance or startups. We are a growing company and our focus might be on opening a subsidiary in another country one day and applying for European funding the other day.
