Job Purpose:
Assurance of the proper functioning of the purchasing processes in the division, store management, supply-chain management, continuous improvement management.
Job Responsibilities:
• Advanced skills in searching for new suppliers, resources + developing current supply base
• Regularly ordering inventory material necessary for production on time
• Actively negotiating with material supplier – terms and methods of delivery, etc.
• Solving problems arising from material deliveries (quality, quantity, req. dates etc.)
• Continually evaluating suppliers
• Implementing and optimizing a system for monitoring material (kan-ban, etc.)
• Optimizing the material base according to the needs of the production department and/or customers
• Invoicing exported goods
• Cooperating with the Central Logistic department on material deliveries
• Communicating with the mother division abroad
• Reporting to superiors
• Actively participating in continuous improvement of systems in related workplaces
• Deputizing for absent superiors and other colleagues in pre-arranged matters
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• Secondary/High school (technical specialization)
• communicative English (daily calls)
• Good PC skills (must: MS Office, nice to have: JDE, Lotus Notes …)
• Familiarity with reading technical documentation (nice to have)
• Communication skills
• Organization abilities
• Accurate (requirement)
• Task oriented
• Negotiating abilities
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
• Team approach, flexibility
