We currently have several openings in restaurants and beach hotels for people with some previous work experience as a kitchen assistant (kitchen porter) or 2nd Cook. Starting from May in Various locations across the Netherlands. We can offer flexible working contracts from a minimum of 4 months or longer term for people that would like to relocate permanently.
Our client is a well-organized chain restaurant team with a hard working but rewarding team environment.
We need people who can work hard in a friendly international team environment.
As kitchen assistant, you will provide help and support to the chefs, maintaining a clean kitchen area and assisting with basic food preparation, mise en place, salads and so on. You will also be responsible for helping to receive and store food deliveries. Depending upon your experience level, other tasks could be included in your working life as well!
What we need:
– Communicative level of English language
– Previous working experience working as a kitchen assistant either in a restaurant of hotel
– Good understanding of basic kitchen health and safety and food hygiene
– These positions are open to EU citizens, unfortunately due to the fast-starting dates, we are unable to accept applications from people outside of the EU that would need visa/work permit sponsorship.
