Mackinac (MACK-in-awe) became one of the nation’s favored summer resort destinations during the Victorian era. Vacationers arrived in large lake excursion boats from Buffalo, Cleveland, Chicago and Detroit seeking the cooler weather on Mackinac Island.

Start Date: late may, early June
End Date: early September, mid September

Positions and duties:
Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning rooms, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry. You may have to use chemical cleaning products.

The wage is $9.25/hour.
Overtime is available at $14.00 per hour

Work schedule: average of 40 or more hours per week

Housing: provided 119USD/week, walking distance from the hotel
