***Due to the current border restrictions and closing of hotels and restaurants in Europe, we have had to make some basic changes to our recruitment for the Netherlands.

We are still accepting applications for our vacancies, but we're not unfortunately immediately able to make firm job offers. We are in constant contact with our partners and customers and we are confident that hiring for cooks, waiters and other hospitality staff will resume later this year. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to say exactly when the positions will open again, realistically, the earliest start will be in May or June.

We’re looking for chefs and cooks to work, starting from May/June in a beachside resort in North Holland, Netherlands. You will be part of an international kitchen team, preparing a range of bistro style food, in a busy 4* hotel. The cuisine is mainly European dishes and traditional Dutch specialties. Contracts can be for a fixed term of 6 or more months. If you would like to work longer term in The Netherlands, we’d certainly be happy to discuss that too.

North Holland is a popular location, with high quality beach resorts and very close links to major cites such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

We need people who are able to work hard in a friendly international team environment.

What we need:

Communicative level of English language
Previous working experience working as a chef/cook in restaurants or hotels, able to provide at least one reference from a previous employer
These positions are open to EU citizens, unfortunately due to the fast starting dates, we are unable to accept applications from people outside of the EU that would need visa/work permit sponsorship.

What We Can Offer

You will work on a full time legal Dutch employment contract. We will manage all the registrations to ensure that you’re legally employed and have access to health care during your time there.

If you’d like, we can organise accommodation for you before you arrive. Typical accommodation is in a shared apartment with a private room, but we can find other accommodation types if you need. You will need to pay for renting accommodation, but we try to keep the prices as low as possible. The usual weekly rental charge is 80 Euros per week.

Working hours are either 38 or 40 hours per week. There are opportunities to work extra hours if you would like to. Working days are 5 days per week with 2 days’ vacation. Basic monthly salary is minimum 1800 Euros Gross per month which means a Net salary of around 1600 Euros.
